GCSE Results Day
Pupils and staff at Baylis Court School came together today to mark GCSE results day, celebrating the hard work, perseverance, and personal achievements of this year’s Year 11 cohort.
The school’s mission, ‘Inspiring Leaders of Tomorrow’ underpins everything at Baylis Court. Pupils are expected, encouraged and supported to achieve their very best academically. The results mark the culmination of years of dedication, with pupils successfully securing their chosen next steps across a range of post-16 pathways, including A-levels and vocational courses. Many are now set to progress into the Sixth Form at Baylis Court, or in local schools and colleges, equipped with the strong foundations needed for future success. All Year 11 pupils should be rightly proud of their achievements.
Mrs MacInnes, Principal at Baylis Court said "We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate these fantastic grades with our pupils today. These results are a testament to the immense hard work, dedication, and resilience shown by both our Year 11s and our exceptional staff. Behind every grade is a story of commitment, and we are immensely proud of what this group of fabulous young women have achieved."
Headline figures:
- 82% of pupils achieved grades 9-5 in English with 40% achieving at least grade 7
- 76% of pupils achieved grades 9-4 in maths
- 86% of pupils achieved grades 9-5 in spanish
Central to the school's ethos is the core value of resilience. Over the course of their secondary studies, pupils have shown impressive determination and adaptability, working diligently through the challenges of their GCSE courses to reach their personal goals.
As students prepare to take their next steps into Key Stage 5 and beyond, everyone at Baylis Court School wishes the GCSE Class of 2026 the very best for the future and looks forward to welcoming many of them back in September for A-level studies.
